Q. I just installed the Vembu StoreGrid software, but I am unable to login to the StoreGrid Web Console.

A. First, ensure that StoreGrid is running. If it is you should see the icon in the system tray with a green 'play' indicator on it, indicating that it is indeed running. If the icon is there, but is stopped (red box), you can start it by right-clicking on the system tray icon and selecting 'Start StoreGrid'. If there is no icon, you can start it by running the StoreGrid application from the Start Menu where you installed it, or starting the StoreGrid service, if you installed it as a service. If StoreGrid is running, and you can't login, wait a minute and try it again- sometimes when it is first installed it has to initialize the system before you can login. If you still can't login, reinstall the application or contact us for more help.


Q. I am an ITA Backup subscriber, and I have installed the StoreGrid software on another computer, but I am limited to 100MB, why?

A. Please ensure that when you install the StoreGrid software on other computers that you use the same StoreGrid Customer ID that was assigned to you when you subscribed to our service. You will have to reinstall the software on the second machine using the correct Customer ID for it to fall under your account and have additional space avaialble to it.
